Inspiration:
'Devoir' is the first book ('pilot' if you like...) in the FBSI-series. Funny detail: 'Devoir' was meant to be a short story of approximately 8,000 words. The synopsis (first 500 words) were rejected by the editors of an anthology. Nevertheless I decided to finish the story. And then... well, it just happened unexpectedly... The short story grew upto 60k words and thus became a regular novel. While I was writing and making things up, I was surprised to find the word 'FBSI' was never used before. (Oh hell, I didn't find it; which doesn't mean it really hasn't be used before. I may have overseen one of those zillions of books published today...). Anyway, during the process of writing so many storylines popped up in my mind, I decided to make this a 'bigger thing'. 'Devoir' has become the pilot of the FBSI-series.
